Chesapeake Bay Stripers

Chesapeake Bay Stripers is about fishing for Striped Bass out of Wenona, Maryland. Captain Harry Nield aboard Kingfish II Charters took a large group of anglers out trolling for striped bass using Spanky’s Lures. This trip was last week out of Wenona, Maryland and they were trolling in the Chesapeake Bay for the striped bass. Chesapeake Bay fishing this season has been extremely tough on all anglers landing the big stripers but Kingfish II has had some good results. Captain Harry had a large group this spring day and did not quite produce his limit of striped bass although he still managed to land more then most captains this day using Spanky’s Lures. Kingfish II anglers produced Five Trophy Fish as you can see from the photo below. Captain Harry says that this year the trophy fish have been very elusive but was happy with these quality fish this day, using Spanky’s Lures. Captain Harry works hard for his anglers to try and produce their limits but some days are very tough and that is fishing this years trophy season.
