Striped Bass Fall Fishing

Striped Bass Fall Fishing season is right around the corner. Captain Harry Nield of Kingfish II Charters took a group out of Wenona Harbor for some striper fishing last fall. This typed of fishing consist of some trolling lures and also jigging. Captain Harry starts out trolling Spanky’s Bucktail lures attached to Umbrella Rigs in the morning and lands some nice stripers. When the fish started to school up he switched over to jigging Cripple Herring on light tackle for his anglers. Jigging is a lot of fun on this light tackle and can also produce big fish as you can see from the picture below. Fall Striped Bass fishing mixes in the best of both worlds light tackle and trolling to keep it fun for everyone and produce results. Captain Harry is one of the best at producing results for his anglers and tries to make every trip a memorable one for all. We are looking forward to another great fall season from our captains from Spankyslures.com.
